PLEASE NOTE: As long as you are registered for this RFP, you will continue to receive these notices. If you plan to not respond to this RFP with a proposal submittal, you may want to access the eProcurement Marketplace and mark "No Bid". Once you have done such, you will not continue to receive any notices pertaining to this RFP.

(1) QUESTION. Typically, what we do on scattered site inspections is meet at a central office every morning and have our inspector ride with a maintenance person around to each house for the day, then return to the office at the end of the day. Given that some of these houses are around 2 hours from your office in Petersburg, such as those in the Greenville area, how do you see this working out in this situation?
AGENCY RESPONSE. Our maintenance does not accompany the inspector. The inspections would be set ahead of time with both the property manager and/or Section 8 department and resident and the inspector would then go directly to the unit they are inspecting.

(1a) QUESTION. Do you also have offices and staff located in Greenville, Taylorville, and Winchester where our inspector can meet?
AGENCY RESPONSE. There is staff in Greenville and Taylorville, but no “onsite” staff in Winchester. The manager in Greenville and Taylorville could meet the inspector and either myself or another representative would meet in Winchester.

(1b) QUESTION. Or will our inspector meet in Petersburg each morning and drive out from there for all properties?
AGENCY RESPONSE. See the response within the preceding (1a).

(2) QUESTION. It looks like there are 5 towns listed for all of the UPCS inspections. Are ALL houses located within the limits of each town, or are they scattered throughout the entire county that the towns are each located in? I'm just trying to get a sense for how much drive time there will be from house to house once they are actually in that area/county.
AGENCY RESPONSE. Houses are located within the limits of each town and although we do have some scattered sites, the drive time within each town would be minimal.

(3) QUESTION. Capital asset data collection is mentioned in the RFP. We sometimes see this and it is really not needed nor wanted by the housing authority. Do you wish for us to collect this information, and if so, for what all assets?
AGENCY RESPONSE. Capital asset data collection is not required for this RFP.
