PLEASE NOTE: As long as you are registered for this RFP you will continue to receive these notices. If you do not plan to respond to this RFP with a proposal submittal, you may want to access the Internet System and mark "No Bid." We have received the following requests for information and hereby respond to each:
(1) QUESTION: Per addendum # 1 there was some changes made to the asset list. I believe these changes affect the way we enter the cost online. Will Lot # 3 and Lot # 5 be revised?
Please see below for detailed information.
(1.1) Lot # 3 Fire Alarm System Inspections and Testing:
(1.1.1) Flint River = $0.00 Per the RFP there is no fire alarm system at this site. The only devices at the location are smokes detectors that are not tied to the panel. The addendum said we are not required to test these, should this line be removed?
(1.1.2) Diamond Office = $0.00 Per the RFP there is no fire alarm system at this site. The only devices at the location are smokes detectors that are not tied to the panel. The addendum said we are not required to test these, should this line be removed?
(1.2) Lot # 5 Fire Protection Backflow Preventer Inspections and Testing:
(1.2.1) Per the addendum additional locations and domestic backflows were added that need to be inspected. There is no place to add money for the below systems. Will new lines be added in this section?
(1.2.2) If not where do we put the cost for these?

AGENCY RESPONSE:
Item 1.1.1: Flint River only has smoke alarms, no fire alarm system. This line item will be removed per previous clarification that SHA provides testing for smoke alarms (not tied to a fire alarm control panel).
Item 1.1.2: Diamond Oaks only has smoke alarms, no fire alarm system. This line item should be removed per previous clarification that SHA provides testing for smoke alarms (not tied to a fire alarm control panel).
Item 1.2.1: New pricing line items will be added for the domestic backflow preventers added to the RFP.

(2) CLARIFICATION: Under the section for submitting our price for Backflow, the online only has a place for Fire Prevention Backflow cost. I know you had intended on our performing your domestic backflows as well.
AGENCY RESPONSE: Yes. The Housing Authority would like the testing of the domestic backflow preventers listed included in the RFP. New pricing line items will be added for the domestic backflow preventers added to the RFP.

(3) QUESTION: Under monitoring cost are you looking for the cost of monitoring via Basic phone line or via Cellular Communicator or a price for each?
AGENCY RESPONSE: Please provide basic phone line monitoring pricing for the systems that have existing phone line monitoring (all systems except Osprey & OCB). Provide pricing for cellular communicator monitoring for new monitoring at Osprey and OCB.
(4) CLARIFICATION: The online submittal only has an option for the added monitoring to Osprey & OCB but nothing for up grading the monitoring to cellular for the existing phone line monitoring.
AGENCY RESPONSE: Please add cellular communicator, connection to existing system, and monitoring for Osprey and OCB. Existing phone line communicators on existing systems are to remain as-is at this time.
(5) GAUGE LEVEL OF INTEREST: So that we can gauge the level of interest in this RFP, if you have not previously done so, please indicate, where provided within the Internet system, as to whether or not (i.e. "Will Submit" or "No Bid") you anticipate delivering to us a proposal submittal in response to this RFP.
