Minneapolis Public Housing Authority (MPHA) received the following question from potential proposers. Below each question is MPHA’s response.
1. QUESTION. How large is the plan in assets and participants?
MPHA’S RESPONSE. As of 9/30/2019 the plan’s asset size is $28,823,034; participants: 344
2. QUESTION. What type of plan(s) are currently in place?
MPHA’S RESPONSE. Defined Contribution, Money-Purchase Plan – 401(a)
3. QUESTION. Who is currently adm/RK provider?
MPHA’S RESPONSE. Wells Fargo (in transition to Principal)
4. QUESTION. What is the reason behind the search? Did an independent consultant previously provide these services for the 401(a) plan and their contract expired?
MPHA’S RESPONSE. MPHA's current contract for these services will expire this year, so we’re re-soliciting the services now so we can have another contract in place when it expires.
5. QUESTION. Who currently provides these services for the plan and are they allowed to rebid?
MPHA’S RESPONSE. MPHA’s current provider for these services is Advanced Capital Group and they are allowed to submit a response to this RFP.
