PLEASE NOTE: As long as you are registered for this IFB you will continue to receive these notices. If you plan to not respond to this IFB with a proposal submittal, you may want to access the eProcurement Marketplace and mark "No Bid." Once you have done such, you will not continue to receive any notices pertaining to this IFB.
We have revised several items in the IFB, as follows:
(1) PRICING ITEMS. The pricing items in IFB Document 1.0 have been revised. The revised Pricing Items are attached hereto as Attachment #1 and have been updated in the eProcurement Marketplace.
(2) TIME OF COMPLETION. Section 2.1.2.21 of Document 1.0 of the IFB has been revised, and now reads as follows:
“Time of Completion. The Agency acknowledges that due to current market conditions the modernization work might not start until closer to the end of 2018 or into 2019 (though the Agency would be very pleased if the work would start as soon as reasonably possible.) The Contractor shall commence the modernization work under the ensuing contract on a date to be specified within the Notice to Proceed issued by the Agency and shall fully complete all work thereunder within 56 consecutive calendar days from said date. Normal working hours shall be Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EST). All other working hours require pre-approval. The Contractor shall provide a minimum 5 working days for Agency approval and planning.”
(3) TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS. IFB Document 9.0 - Attachment K (Technical Specification) has been revised. Specifically, the following Part 1.1.B.3.d has been removed from the Technical Specification:
“1.1.B.3.d. Fire alarm initiating devices in each elevator lobby and each machine room to initiate firefighters’ return feature. Provide alarm initiating signal wiring from hoistway or machine room connection point to elevator controller terminals. Device in machine room and at top of hoistway to provide signal for general alarm and discrete signal for Phase II firefighters’ operation. All piping and wiring in public spaces to be discrete.”
The revised Technical Specification is attached hereto as Attachment #2.
(4) PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE. Please see attached hereto for your perusal Attachment #3, a copy of the Agenda and Sign-in Sheet pertaining to the Pre-Proposal Conference that was held on Thursday, February 8, 2018. Please remember that, pursuant to relevant HUD procurement regulation, this Conference was not mandatory and, as a result, there may be, and probably are, additional firms that did not attend that may submit a bid.
We are grateful for your interest in doing business with our Agency and we look forward to receiving a proposal submittal from your firm.
Regards,
Kimberly Barnard
