PLEASE NOTE: As long as you are registered for this IFB, you will continue to receive these notices. If you plan to not respond to this IFB with a bid submittal, you may want to access the eProcurement Marketplace and mark "No Bid". Once you have done such, you will not continue to receive any notices pertaining to this IFB.

We have received the following requests for information and hereby respond to each:

(1) QUESTION. What will the contractor be responsible for example if resident damage the cabinets?
AGENCY RESPONSE. We assume that you mean, during the work in an occupied unit. The answer is, the Agency will be responsible for any tenant-caused damage.

(2) QUESTION. Addendum 8 states: CURRENT STATUS OF REVISED SPECIFICATIONS. The purpose of this addendum is to inform all bidders that we are still engaged with our architect to complete revisions to the drawings and project manual. We anticipate (but do not guarantee) that such will be completed by early next week. When we issue those revised plans, we will also revise the Pricing Items at that time (do not be concerned, as anyone who has already entered pricing online, will be able to at that time re-enter the eProcurement Marketplace and revise the pricing previously issued). We are grateful for your patience in this matter. Was there a revision posted for the above addendum? If so, please re-post.
AGENCY RESPONSE. The additional specifications and drawings pertaining to this IFB are attached hereto. The “Attachment #1” document is additional specifications pertaining to the cabinets/countertops; and the “Attachment #2 and #3” documents are specifications/drawings pertaining to the flooring requirements that has been added to the work as a result of issuance of this addendum.

(3) QUESTION. Addenda 3 PART 3 - EXECUTION Page 6 C. Installation: 8. Install existing range hood in accordance to manufacturer's instructions. Since we are reinstalling "existing range hood" please provide manufacturer's instructions for existing ranges.
AGENCY RESPONSE. The successful bidder will be required to garner the appropriate “manufacturer’s instructions” requested for any existing hoods. If the Agency determines that a new hood is to be installed (instead of re-installing the old hood), the Agency will provide the new hood, which will include installation instructions.

(4) QUESTION. Will the cabinets scheduled to be replaced be completely empty prior to
contractor removing and replacing them?
AGENCY RESPONSE. Yes. This will be coordinated by the chosen contractor working with our designated onsite representative.

(5) QUESTION. What are permit requirements for this Project? Building, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing?
AGENCY RESPONSE. It is the responsibility of the chosen contractor to ensure that he/she secures all required permits and delivers such to our Agency.

(6) QUESTION. Who pays for the cost of the permits?
AGENCY RESPONSE. The cost of the permits will be paid by the chosen contractor as a part of the firm-fixed fee bided and awarded.

(7) QUESTION. Depending on required permitting who will provide required drawings, calculations, and engineering.
AGENCY RESPONSE. Such is the responsibility of the Agency.

(8) ANTICIPATED TIME PERIOD FOR COMPLETION OF WORK. It is our impression that work pertaining to each unit will be completed within no more than 1-2 days, including all cabinet and flooring work. Further, we (the Agency) anticipate that total construction work, including mobilization, will be completed by the chosen contractor within 4 months or receipt of the Notice to Proceed from the Agency.

(9) REVISED PRICING ITEM(S). With these revisions to the specifications, the Agency has deleted Pricing Items No. 2 and 3 originally issued, and hereby revises Pricing Item No. 1 to read as follows: “Firm-fixed fee to complete all of the construction work within 75 housing units as detailed herein, including the designated work to the Kitchen Cabinets/Countertops and Flooring, especially as detailed within the new Specifications issued as a part of Addendum #10.” Please note that the Flooring work was added as a part of the new specifications issued as a part of this Addendum #10. Any bidder that may have previously entered pricing in response to this IFB must re-enter the eProcurement Marketplace and revise his/her proposed pricing to reflect the requirements of this new re-worded Pricing Item.

(10) ADDITONAL QUESTIONS ASKED. We acknowledge that there are yet additional questions that have been asked that we have not yet responded to. We anticipate that we will issue an additional addendum next week to respond to those questions.

(11) EXTENSION OF DEADLINES. With these revisions detailed within this addendum, the Agency hereby extends the following deadlines:

(11a) The Deadline to Ask Questions is hereby extended until 3:00 PM ET on Monday, January 7, 2019; and

(11b) The Proposal Submittal Deadline is hereby extended until 3:00 PM ET on Wednesday, January 16, 2019.
