PLEASE NOTE: As long as you are registered for this IFB, you will continue to receive these notices. We have received the following requests for information and hereby respond to each:
(1) QUESTION. Does my company have to bid on everything in the Kitchen?
AGENCY RESPONSE. Yes, though bidders are welcome to subcontract any amount of the work they deem necessary.
(2) QUESTION. Will I have to be bonded?
AGENCY RESPONSE. Yes, if the bid sum exceeds $100,000.00 (please see Section 3.4 of the IFB 1.0 Document).
(2a) QUESTION. If not, do you offer any alternatives for small businesses that cant afford to be bonded
AGENCY RESPONSE. Several options of bonding types are detailed within the references Section 3.4, especially within Sections 3.4.5.1 through 3.4.5.4 on Page 20 of the IFB 1.0 Document issued. Please remember that bonding is a State and Federal requirement and our agency has no choice in the matter.
We are grateful for your interest in doing business with our Agency and we look forward to receiving a bid submittal from your firm.
