PLEASE NOTE: As long as you are registered for this IFB, you will continue to receive these notices. If you plan to not respond to this IFB with a bid submittal, you may want to access the eProcurement Marketplace and mark "No Bid". Once you have done such, you will not continue to receive any notices pertaining to this IFB.
(1) PRE-BID CONFERENCE. Attached hereto for your perusal is a copy of the Sign-in Sheet and the Agenda pertaining to the Pre-bid Conference held yesterday, January 4, 2023. Please remember that, pursuant to pertinent HUD Procurement regulation, this Conference was not mandatory, and there may be, and probably are, additional firms who did not attend, that may, and probably will, submit a bid in response to this IFB.
(2) REVISIONS TO THE SPECIFICATIONS. We hereby issue the following revisions to the specifications that we originally published; to wit:
(2a) Within Section 3.2.2.5, Table No. 5, Pricing Item #5 on Page 17 of the IFB 1.0 Document, the reference to “5/8 inch thick CDX plywood decking” is hereby revised to read “3/4-inch thick CDX plywood decking.” We have also completed this same revision to the information listed within Pricing Item #5 on the Marketplace. (NOTE: We are grateful that this issue was pointed out to us by one of the potential bidders during the Pre-bid Conference.)
(2b) Within Section 3.5, Bid Submission, on Page 20 of the IFB 1.0 Document the reference to submitting “2 exact copies” and “3 total copies” of the hard-copy bid documents is hereby revised to read that “only 1 copy of the bid documents need to be submitted.” (These are the Step #1 submittal documents detailed within Section 3.1.1, Table No. 4, on Page 13 if the same 1.0 Document). To repeat, bidders are only required to submit one copy of those documents in the sealed hard-copy bid submittal prior to the Bid Submittal Deadline.
(2c) The reference to “Roofing Renovations (2022)” on the title page of the IFB 1.0 Document is hereby revised to correctly read “Roofing Renovations (2023).”
