PLEASE NOTE: As long as you are registered for this IFB, you will continue to receive these notices. If you plan to not respond to this IFB with a bid submittal, you may want to access the eProcurement Marketplace and mark "No Bid". Once you have done such, you will not continue to receive any notices pertaining to this IFB.

We have received the following requests for information and hereby respond to each:

(1) QUESTION. Do you have a roof plan for building type “DM”?
AGENCY RESPONSE. Building Type ‘DM’: Building Type ‘DM’ is a 68 foot long version of the Building Type ‘D’ roof plan.

(2) QUESTION. Roofing specification, page 073113-3 of the Architect’s specs, says the roofing manufacturer is to provide “Workmanship warranty period: 20 years from date of Substantial Completion”. I’m thinking that this is the GAF “Golden Pledge” warranty or Certainteed “5-star SureStart Plus” warranty where the manufacturer warranties the contractor’s workmanship for 20 years? If this is the warranty that I think it is, and you don’t want it, please remove this requirement because it cost extra money and so that all contractors are bidding on the same thing, or maybe explain it further to me why it’s not what I think it is. If you do want the warranty, then contractor’s should provide their certification that they can provide such a warranty before the contract is awarded to them. We are certified to provide such a warranty by Certainteed.
AGENCY RESPONSE. Roofing Workmanship Warranty – Regarding the Workmanship Warranty in ‘Asphalt Shingles and Related Work’ Spec Section 073113, Warranty Subsection 1.13.A.5, the workmanship warranty is a warranty for the manufacturer’s workmanship on materials, not a warranty like the GAF “Golden Pledge” or Certainteed “5-star SureStart Plus” where the manufacturer warrants the contractor’s workmanship.

(3) QUESTION. Please advise the zoom meeting number for the bid opening
AGENCY RESPONSE. We will issue the link via an addendum on the day prior to the Public Bid Opening.
