PLEASE NOTE: As long as you are registered for this RFQ, you will continue to receive these notices. If you plan to not respond to this RFQ with a bid submittal, you may want to access the eProcurement Marketplace and mark "No Bid". Once you have done such, you will not continue to receive any notices pertaining to this RFQ.
We received the following requests for information and hereby respond to each:
(1) QUESTION. You require at least one analyst from the proposing firm be in the AAR program. MPHA will not accept other proficiency program participation, such as the laboratory AIHA PAT program proficiency, correct?
AGENCY RESPONSE. No.
(2) QUESTION. If our AAR application is submitted but not approved is there an opportunity for us to submit and be placed in a “pending pool acceptance” pool, which upon receipt of our AAR program approval, we could then be placed in the pool?
AGENCY RESPONSE. Firms need to meet the requirements set forth in the RFQ document by proposal deadline date.
(3) QUESTION. If we do not submit now due to our AAR application not being approved, when can we expect the RFQ to be reopened so we can be considered?
AGENCY RESPONSE. Per Section 2.1.1.1 of the RFQ document, the MPHA will consider re-opening the Pool at least once every year. Firms may contact the MPHA buyer to request that the Pool be re-opened.
(4) QUESTION. Do we need an AAR certified person to analyze non-clearance samples?
AGENCY RESPONSE. Yes.
(5) QUESTION. You indicate that MPHA has not had such a pool previously and had been using Angstrom Analytical for these services. Could you please provide, under the freedom of information act, the last scope of work and associated cost submitted by Angstrom Analytical for said work (air monitoring and clearance testing), that can be released due to project completion?
ANSWER. Per Section 2.5 of the RFQ document, the MPHA has used Angstrom Analytical for this type of service in the past. The most recent project was awarded to PSI, Inc. The scope of work is attached here along with the bid tabulation. The contract amount was $16,180.00.
